OC1 & OC2 Canoes Required for International and Interstate Crews

Hi Everyone

Do you have an OC1 / OC2 Canoe?

Have you ever travelled and competed internationally or interstate? Has someone let you borrow their canoe? If so...perhaps now is the time to return that favour!

We are desparately seeking loan canoes for Gold Coast Cup. If you are willing to loan your canoe, please let me know as soon as possible.

The organising committee of the Gold Coast Cup would like to advise that all crews will be starting together: Women, Men and Mixed Crews at 7.30am.

Remember to get your crews in early - only the first 500 paddlers will receive a competitor event bag - filled with goodies!

Blessing of the new canoe This Saturday 8th January

A special ceremony will be held on Saturday directly after our morning training session to officially "Bless" the new Bradley canoe. This will be at approixmately 8.30am.

The BBQ will be fired up with Breakfast served for all who attend, the club general meeting will follow directly after the blessing is completed. Hope many of our members will be able to make it!

P.S Remember saturday training sessions are back to 6am start on the water, so please arrive promptly by 5.45 to organise the canoes!
